Referral links must be shared from your Indiegogo accounts
You can find those links under the campaign title.

Let’s put some CORE on the line. Every 10 CORE perks claimed that are a result of your share link earns YOU another CORE. Limit 5 CORE per referrer. You will need to cover shipping and any applicable taxes. See below about how Indiegogo counts referrals.

Some things to be aware of :point_right: To count as a referral, the person clicking on your link must purchase without leaving Indiegogo, or that referral will not count.

Also - you must be a backer of a shippable perk. In this case a CORE, to participate in the contest.

Who counts as a referrer? (copied from Indiegogo)

Anyone logged into an Indiegogo account can count as a referrer. We recommend you specify referrers also must be a backer, so that you already have their contact info for reward fulfillment once the contest ends.

If someone has not backed your campaign but wants to participate in your referral contest, you will only have access to their Indiegogo username, but not their name, email address, or other personal information (due to our privacy policy we are unable to share this information). Please ensure that you’ve planned for this when creating your referral contest.*

Indiegogo is not able to track referrals made outside of the referral link method described here. If backers tell their friends by word of mouth or send a link without their unique referral ID, that share will NOT be counted in their referrals on Indiegogo.

The person who clicked on the referral link must immediately make a contribution after clicking on the referral link. If they visit other pages or websites or leave and come back to the campaign later to contribute, their contribution will not be counted as a referral.

FYI: It’s not super apparent from the IGG page that those links will count for referrals.

If you click the shareable link (the icon), anything that is following the OLL is unique to the user, so you must be logged in to obtain your unique share link. Their statistics give us a list of who is associated with that unique share link when your referrals purchase. So it’s important that they don’t leave campaign page before purchasing or use that same link when they are ready to purchase.

Does this mean a 10 count of Cores or 10 counts of a perk that gets at least 1 core? Basically, if they purchase a 3 pack, does that count as 3 or 1 towards the referral?

We’ve finally got some names on the boards for referrals. 4 backers have earned 1 contribution each through referrals. 9 more earns a core. You pay shipping and fees. Make sure that you remind your friends that there’s no risk if the campaign doesn’t make goal. Also remind them to purchase through your link so you get credit. Thank you for all that you do to support us. It’s truly a humbling experience.
