I have seen this relatively new device. Has anyone got to try it? Are there any differences with the classic Xiaomi motion sensor?

It looks like it’s a bluetooth sensor… Not looked at Xiaomi’s and their partners, like Qingping, for some time now. It looks like they’ve created a whole line of BT based devices.

Is there any reason why someone would use BLE sensors over Zigbee in a full smarthome situation, especially for something like a motion sensor?
In general, probably not, but in an area where you want sensors but have no Zigbee coverage, but you do have Wi-Fi, like in a shed for example, I could see some use…
