I’m looking into robot vacuum / mops and am curious what recommendations you folks have. Specifically I’m curious about machines that integrate well / easily with a smart home setup.
I’ve the Eufy X8 which works very well (haven’t integrated it - not even looked to see if at all possible).
Are there any robot vacs that drop the reliance on the cloud or a specific app while still maintaining wireless control?
@markus and I both have Ecovacs T8 AIVI robot vacuums. There is a Node Red and Home Assistant integration as well.
I’d say the Tuya ones would allow it, for example something like this. You’d first configure it as per normal in app then setup LocalTuya and isolate it in a DMZ.
