Yes, very concerning. Thankfully for me I don’t appear to be affected (I am not with Optus), but it would be very concerning for anyone that is. Hopefully it will shock authorities and business’ to invest the time, effort and money to better protect our information.
I am pleased to see some of the recent commentary has been around the length of time business’ need to keep our information for, if indeed they need to at all.
